Information Policy
In consultation with a number of people I have put the following into
place;
- All information that we can gather regarding a project is within scope of
the project, and will be collected and posted if
at all possible.
- Information regarding living person's will be privatized (hiding the
birth and marriage dates).
- All publicly available information that can be found on topic, that is not under a copyright
restriction, will be posted to this web space. If something that
is posted is found to be copyrighted, it will be removed immediately.

Information Format If you have source documents or
photos you are willing to share to this community please scan and email to
james@vailweb.net. Please
clearly label the email in the subject line and attach only ONE file per
email.
If you do not have a scanner, please contact James Vail and we can
arrange to scan and return your documents and photo's after scanning.

Please Note:
To access information in the data collection you will need the following
software;
- Microsoft Word, or other standard word processor
that can load the Rich Text Format files *.rtf
- Adobe®
Acrobat® Reader®
— free software for viewing and printing Adobe Portable Document Format
(PDF) files on all major hardware and operating system platforms.
- Family Tree
Maker (v11),
or other GEDCOM capable genealogy software.
